East Tennessee’s spacious lakes form the mainstream of the Tennessee River as it begins its 650-mile journey to the Ohio River. Suited to any type of boat from sailboats to the larger cruisers, these lakes have attracted vacationers for over 45 years.

Watts Bar Lake provides 783 miles of shoreline for fishing, boating, swimming, camping, hiking and skiing. Watts Bar Lake unlimited coves and islands with natural sand beaches make an ideal lake for all water sports. It is fed by three major rivers and at least six large creeks. Anglers may choose from wide-open flats to narrow winding river channels in which to fish. There are plenty of jumbo crappie as well as trophy stripers and lunker largemouth and small mouth bass.
